Most Improved Swimmer Award:
- This award will be given to the most improved female and male swimmer in each group. The Most Improved Swimmer Award may be based upon the swimmers’ improvement in attitude, skill level and performance level. This award is mainly subjective and will be selected at the coach’s discretion.

Coaches Award:
- This award will be given to one female and one male athlete who best exemplifies a winning attitude in each group. This attitude must be consistently demonstrated throughout the summer and will include the following traits: positive team/group spirit, positive team/group leadership, a positive attitude, a good attendance record, a good work ethic, and great sportsmanship on and off the pool deck. This award is mainly subjective and will be selected at the coach’s discretion.

Top Performance Award:
- The Top Performance Award is exactly what the title implies, “the top performer.” The award will be given to the top male and female performer in each of the following categories: 6 & under, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15 & over. The Top Performance Award will be given to the swimmer with the best performance in an individual event.
- Swimmers in the age categories of 9/10 and up will be ranked according to their best performance on the FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation, the international governing body of competitive swimming) Short Course Performance Rating Chart. If a swimmer attends a long course swim meet (“A” Provincials or Club Nationals) their times will be based in accordance to the FINA Long Course Performance Rating Chart. The times on the FINA Top Performance Rating Charts are based off the current world record. Each time is scored a specific amount of points depending on its proximity to the world record. The swimmer scoring the highest amount of points in an individual swim will be awarded the Top Performance Award.
- Because the FINA Performance charts do not calculate 25-Meter events, the 6 & Under and 7/8 age groups will be based according to the swimmers’ highest ranking in an individual event found on the ASSA Event Rankings. This award is mainly objective in nature but will still be selected at the coach’s discretion.
